As a Content & Marketing Specialist with Purveyor Branding Co., you will be a key player in managing content for our clients, from ideation and filming to editing and publishing. You’ll have a direct impact on the creative direction of client brands, helping them stand out in a crowded marketplace while keeping everything aligned with their core vision.
You’ll work with the Purveyor team to brainstorm fresh ideas, execute top-notch content, and ensure that every brand we touch stays current, engaging, and relevant. If you're passionate about content, marketing, and branding, this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities
Content Creation & Marketing Strategy (60%)
Create Spanish-Language Content for Client Accounts: Lead content creation in English and at times Spanish, ensuring that messaging is culturally relevant and maintains brand alignment across languages.
Create Trend-Driven Content: Stay active on social media, keeping a pulse on trends and integrating them into client content to keep their brands relevant.
Plan and Execute Shoots: Manage the pre-production process, develop shot lists, and capture both video and photography for use across digital platforms.
Edit and Publish Content: Produce polished, high-quality videos and images, ready for social media, websites, and marketing materials.
Schedule and Monitor Posts: Use tools like Later to plan, schedule, and monitor content, ensuring it is published at optimal times and reaches target audiences.
Analyze Content Performance: Track content engagement, produce platform reports, and provide insights to optimize future content strategies.
Strategic Branding Support (25%)
Support New Branding Projects: Assist with research and copywriting for new branding initiatives, providing strategic insights and supporting the creative process.
Client Presentation Development: Assist in crafting clear and impactful presentations that communicate brand strategy, content plans, and project updates to clients.
Marketing Support (15%)
Email & Social Media Copywriting: Craft engaging copy for email campaigns and social media posts, ensuring consistency in messaging across all client communications.
Set Up & Publish Email Newsletters: Manage the end-to-end process of email newsletter creation, from copywriting to design setup and publishing.
Tools & Technology: Work with tools like Apple computers, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Figma to create and edit content and design materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2-3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, and marketing strategy
Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish, with strong translation and localization skills
Proficiency in video production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
Strong photography skills for social media and marketing use
A solid understanding of branding principles, including Marty Neumeier’s brand strategy approach
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt to various brand voices
Well-versed in social media trends and platform best practices

Work Requirements
We believe in flexibility when it comes to work, however, you must be based within 30 minutes of Bakersfield, California, to perform job duties and client needs
Ability to work flexible hours as needed for content creation and social media management
Access to reliable transportation for local travel to shoots and client meetings
