Celebrating ‘runners rising for 50 years
When California State University, Bakersfield came to Purveyor Branding Co., they were on the brink of celebrating a huge milestone — their 50th anniversary.
They wanted help crafting visuals that would help them tell their story while casting a vision for the next 50 years. We couldn’t wait to dig in.
While doing our homework, we found an original logo and were immediately inspired. Drawing on their history, we pulled in a new stylized roadrunner that’s moving quickly into the future but also used vintage-leaning fonts and elevated the colors to call back to the past.
Together, these elements form a brand suite perfect for a year-long celebration of how far the school has come. Congratulations on 50 years, CSUB, and here’s to the next 50!
